BUFFALO, NY/FORT ERIE, ON. – The Board and Staff of the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority are deeply saddened by the passing today of Chairman Paul Koessler.

Mr. Koessler was appointed to the Peace Bridge Authority (PBA) in November, 2000 and served the Authority with great distinction right up until the time of his passing.

 

BUFFALO, NY/FORT ERIE, ON. – The Board and Staff of the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority are deeply saddened by the passing today of Chairman Paul Koessler.

Mr. Koessler was appointed to the Peace Bridge Authority (PBA) in November, 2000 and served the Authority with great distinction right up until the time of his passing.

“He was always a gentleman, a true professional and a consensus-builder, always striving to ensure that the interests of the Peace Bridge and the community were treated equally” said Anthony Annunziata, Vice Chairman of the Authority. “His wise counsel and stabilizing influence will be greatly missed.”

“He was a friend and a colleague” said Greg Stamm, Authority Board Member and NFTA Chairman. “His loss is not only to the PBA but also to the many organizations and individuals in Western New York who were touched by his character and generosity.”

The PBA extends its deepest sympathies and condolences to Paul’s wife Niscah and to his family.
