Public Exhibits
Incorporated into the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority’s administration building are two exhibits that are open to the public from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The first exhibit is “Mewinzha – A Journey Back in Time” – a First Nations archaeological display and interpretive centre located in the building atrium. It is a collaborative effort in partnership with the Town of Fort Erie, Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre, Fort Erie Museum Services, and the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority.
The second exhibit is “The Bridge that Peace Built” – an exhibit chronicling the Peace Bridge’s history. It was developed by the Fort Erie Museum Services with participation by the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society and features hundreds of photographs of the Peace Bridge’s history.
