Peace Bridge Shining for USS Little Rock
Iconic bridge illuminated in blue, red and gold for Commissioning Ceremony
BUFFALO, NY/FORT ERIE, ON – The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority will light the Peace Bridge in blue, red and gold for the commissioning of the USS Little Rock LCS-9, a ceremony that will commemorate the warship’s entry into the U.S. Navy’s fleet. The sold-out Commissioning Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 16th, at Canalside in downtown Buffalo, next to the ship’s namesake, the USS Little Rock CLG-4.

Collaboration underway to ensure safe and efficient movement of vehicles and fans at all four international bridge crossings during 11-day tournament in Buffalo, NY
BUFFALO, NY/NIAGARA FALLS, ON – Today various regional transportation, tourism and security organizations announced the coordination of border traffic management planning for the upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Junior Championship tournament, being held in Buffalo, NY, from Dec. 26, 2017 – Jan. 5, 2018. Participants in the planning effort include the Peace Bridge Authority, Niagara Falls Bridge Commission, Pegula Sports and Entertainment, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Canada Border Services Agency, Niagara International Transportation Technology Coalition, Ontario Motor Coach Association, Visit Buffalo Niagara and various U.S. and Canadian elected officials.

No Tolls on Christmas Day at the Peace Bridge
BUFFALO, NY/FORT ERIE, ON – The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority (Peace Bridge Authority) is pleased to announce that it will not charge tolls on Monday, December 25, 2017, in celebration of the Christmas holiday. The toll-free period will be in effect for 24 hours beginning at 12 AM Christmas morning.
