 U.S. & Canadian Non-Union Job Evaluation & Compensation Review

The Buffalo & Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority requests proposals from qualified international Human Resource Consultants (Proponent) to perform a job evaluation and compensation review for the Authority’s non-union positions. As a bi-national entity, the Authority has twenty three non-union positions in both the United States and Canada. The compensation review will need to assess both Western New York and Southern Ontario labor markets. It is our expectation that the successful Proponent will provide the Authority with a full evaluation of the current non-union job descriptions and salary grid and propose recommendations for an American and a Canadian salary grid for all twenty three non-union positions. In addition, it is our expectation to receive valid, current data in the reports which will also include recommendation’s for a standardized job description template, a recommended sustainable job evaluation practice and revisions to the existing non-union compensation policy to adhere to federal legislation in US and Canada.  For more details, and for information regarding submittal requirements, please download the Request for Proposals by clicking here.

 

Engineering Services: Canadian Plaza Arc Flash Study

The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority is currently seeking a qualified consultant to perform an Arc Flash Study at the Canadian Plaza of the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie, Ontario. Architect/Engineer: Canadian Maintenance Shop Interior Renovations Project

The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority is currently seeking a qualified architect/engineer to perform works associated with the Canadian Maintenance Shop Interior Renovations Project at the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie, Ontario. The general purpose of the project is to upgrade the existing 3,000 square feet of industrial space to better accommodate staff use, and to more efficiently utilize the available footprint.

The general purpose of the project is to upgrade the existing 3,000 square feet of industrial space to better accommodate staff use, and to more efficiently utilize the available footprint. The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to: design services for locker rooms, washroom facilities, and a lunch room, as well as construction contract administration and construction support services.
